Nicola Slattery
Nicola Slattery graduated from Coventry Art School with a BA Hons in Fine Art in 1986. She moved to Oxford and joined the Oxford Printmakers Co-op and then to rural Norfolk in 1995.
Nicola’s large acrylic paintings have strength, depth of colour and texture. It is important to her that her subject matters convey an overriding human emotion and they certainly touch the heart of the viewer. Her enjoyment with her drypoint printing comes from the immediate and direct results, her concern being with line and tone, colour being an optional finally.
Nicola’s work has been exhibited widely throughout the UK and can be seen in many permanent collections
